Recommodation letter
Letter of Recommendation for Jos Schaart
Society Empowerment Project (SEP), is a community based organization focused on empowering youth and promoting community development in the rural town of Oyugis and the surrounding Homa Bay County . The region is characterized by high levels of HIV/AIDS infections, poverty, limited education opportunities and food insecurity. SEP uses agriculture as a means of empowering communities for food security and for income generation. Football is our primary strategy for mobilization and awareness creation on reproductive health issues including HIV/AIDS.
From 1st July – 12th August 2014, Jos has functioned as a competent and dependable intern student from the Hanze University. He tirelessly helped in the following areas:
Planning and implementing a successful Workshop on Sports and Events Management to SEP leaders, being trained as Trainer of Trainees, he planned and delivered practical coaching sessions basing on KNVB methodology to SEP Community Coaches, he also helped planning and delivering practical soccer training sessions to Nyahera Girls’ Soccer team – A girls’ secondary school where SEP runs its programmes and sponsors its female players.
Jos was also very instrumental in helping SEP Organizing Committee in the planning and implementing the 6th SEP National Annual Soccer Tournament and Educational Camp, where he also successfully delivered a competent workshop on Events planning and management to the team leaders.
In performing his duties, he was never daunted by several challenges one does face in such positions. He’s self motivated leader with community service at heart. I am not able to recommend Jos highly enough to you.
Sincerely,
Festus O. Juma,
